If we had capes and wore our pants outside our trousers, we’d humbly refer to ourselves as Beer Savers – but we don’t, so StayClean will have to do.
Our mission is to help bars to save money, save time and reduce waste – ultimately increasing their profits.
Just like our founder, we understand that running a bar isn’t easy.
There’s lots to do and margins are tight – combined pressures which have lead to more and more of our ‘locals’ closing their doors forever.
This makes us sad. But the story hasn’t really changed in over 30 years.
The idea for the business came where many great ideas are born – at the pub.
Chatting with the landlord at his local, way back in the 1990s, our founder discovered just how much perfectly drinkable beer Phil was pouring down the drain every week whilst cleaning his beer lines.
This made Tony sad.
It also got him thinking.
If pubs could clean their beer lines less frequently without impacting the quality of their beer they’d be cutting their waste and selling more of the beer that they bought. They’d also be saving time, using fewer aggressive cleaning chemicals and reducing the amount of water they waste.
Being of a scientific persuasion, Tony set about developing a system that would do just that.
Through various versions and developments of the technology, we now have the StayClean Four and StayClean One, both delivering up to 4-6 weeks between line cleans and helping our customers to keep their doors open.
